Housing Development Manager

Your new role
You will lead on the development, management and delivery of a range of capital projects and programmes in housing development. You will establish and maintain robust project management to ensure they are delivered to the prescribed quality, budget and timeframe. You will undertake viability assessments for the disposal or clearance of properties, evaluate and monitor work of consultants and contractors and ensure effective working with internal and external partners.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need a substantial track record in a similar role, in particular in management of complex projects in residential, ideally in social housing or local authority roles. You will need significant experience of appointing and managing contracts, negotiating and leading internal and external partners and assembling complex project briefs. You will also require expert knowledge of all relevant policy, process and be able to manage complex work loads.
What you'll get in return
This role can be done predominantly from home with some site or office meetings as required. This role is likely to last in excess of 6 months and comes with a generous daily rate of around £400-500 a day. You will have complete autonomy to manage your day and workload as appropriate.
