Your new role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join the institutional markets team as an Associate or VP Relationship Manager for a 12-month contract period. This role will be responsible for deepening and expanding existing client relationships, working with clients on a 1:1 basis and bringing them additional value-added services that strengthen their connection with the company. The successful candidate will work across the whole client franchise, including Strategic, Corporate Pensions, DB and DC pension schemes, public sector pension schemes, and their advisors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deepen and expand existing client relationships
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and work with sales teams to capitalise on them
• Understand clients' investment journeys and provide insights and expertise on the existing relationship
• Work with key client personnel
• Attend client meetings, oversee materials, and subsequent follow-up and client communication
• Lead investment-related queries and discussions with clients
• Collaborate with RMs on client account plans and briefing documents
• Provide connectivity between client and product specialists and other partners
• Represent the company at industry events
• Work with Sales and operational teams in any projects/initiatives impacting the business/clients

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong relationship builder and good communication skills
• Ability to identify cross-selling opportunities
• Understanding of the UK pension fund market, investment industry, and competitive landscape
• Experience working with institutional clients
• Ability to independently cover complex client requirements
• Proficient with use of Aladdin and TeamWorld
• Experience in a process-driven, risk-controlled environment
• BA/BS degree in related field (Economics, Finance, or Accounting)
• Current Senior Analyst / Associate or VP level (or soon to be promoted to VP) within a similar role in the investment industry
