  • A significant track record of project management and delivery, preferably within the laboratory, diagnostics, clinical / pharmaceutical or medical device industry
  • Exposure to / experience with pre-sales or tendering for project work
  • Good negotiation and soft skills
  • Knowledge / experience with operational excellence, lean and/or six sigma methodologies, eg a Green belt / Black belt qualification
  • A history of project budget management, preferably for £100,000 - £1M+ budgets
  • A knack for problem solving
  • The ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups

Experience in the following would be an advantage (but aren’t essential):

  • A Project Management qualification, such as Prince II or PMP
  • Laboratory / facility installation or construction, eg building design
  • Writing client proposals and/or Statements of Work

What you'll get in return
A truly interesting role, with lots of freedom to tackle major problems and the chance to affect long term strategic projects across multiple customers / clients across the UK, taking on project leadership and responsibility for delivery.
