Your new role
Working within the Student Liaison and Engagement team, we are looking for determined individuals who are enthusiastic, innovative and have a strong interest in supporting students throughout their time at University.
Key duties include:
- Provide advice, guidance and signpost students who self-refer or who have been referred by academic or support staff with regards to attendance, submissions, pastoral or other forms of support as required.
- Support preparation for re-sits by liaising with students, academic staff and the Student
Administration office. - Undertake general administrative duties associated with the requirements of the post,
to include data maintenance, preparation / sending out of correspondence, collection of
analytical data, answering emails and phone calls. - Meet with students and establish appropriate follow-up plans, to support their re-engagement
and progression and signposting them to the relevant support systems
across the university. - Obtain and analyse attendance via learner analytics systems and collate non –
submission data.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft and Office 365 packages (Excel, SharePoint)
- Understanding of academic/student issues
- Use of Outlook email and calendar
- Educated to Degree level (Desirable)
- Previous Administrative experience
