Hays are working with a Specialist Building Services provider who are pushing the boundaries of integrated building technologies and working on some truly fascinating systems for world leading projects. Specialising in end-to-end integration of systems including BMS, Lighting Control, AV/IT, CCTV, Access/Security systems.
Your new role
You will be involved in the design of next generation cognitive building technology systems on a range of high specification projects in the Super Prime Residential, Luxury Hotel and Blue-Chip Commercial Office sectors throughout the UK and Internationally. With a team of Senior Design Engineers and Intermediate Designers on hand, you will have an opportunity to start your career path and build your experience, working on premium projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist design engineers with the production of the following drawings:
Liaise and co-ordinate with other design team members
Manage As-Installed drawings & O&M Manuals

- General Arrangement Plans
- Elevations
- Comms Room Layouts
- AV/IT Rack Layouts
- Cinema Designs
- Schematics
Liaise and co-ordinate with other design team members
Manage As-Installed drawings & O&M Manuals
What you'll need to succeed
- Design/Engineering based qualifications – i.e. A Levels/BTEC/Apprenticeship/Degree
- Working Knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD is essential
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Package is essential
- Excellent communication skills and work ethic
- Electrical Engineering knowledge is desirable, but not a requirement
- Training will be provided
