Your new company
Based in the East End of Glasgow, our client is recruiting for a Management Accountant on a 12 months fixed term contract basis with the likelihood of extension. The role is based in office and the organisation is easily accessible by public transport and there is on-site parking available too. The hours of work are Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm and there is flexibility with the hours worked.

Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will undertake a range of responsibilities. Your duties will include but are not limited to; preparation of management accounts, preparation of journals, accruals & prepayments, reporting for management, payment runs, reconciliations and associated finance tasks. The IT systems used are Sage and Excel.

What you'll need to succeed
Experience of the preparation of journals, accruals & prepayments is essential. You must be a confident user of Excel and comfortable with Vlook ups and Pivot Tables. You will be a professional and personable communicator as you will liaise with clients and suppliers and colleagues on a daily basis.
