SEN Teacher - Swindon

We are looking to recruit 2 highly skilled, qualified, hardworking, and enthusiastic Class Teachers interested in working a permanent teaching job who specialise in SEND.
Your new company
The company that you will be going to is a bespoke, special educational needs school, devoted to promoting and developing student confidence. While also forming strong relationships with students, staff, and parents. The school has an excellent pension scheme as well as annual pay progression. Your new role
• To provide examples of good and outstanding teaching practice; including preparation and planning, classroom management and the maintenance of effective working relationships with students and colleagues
• To organise the effective deployment and direction of Teaching Assistants, within the classroom and support the development of an effective team
• To support the School Improvement Plan and contribute to the strategic vision of the Head Teacher and Governors
• To participate in meetings which relate to the school’s management, curriculum, administration or organisation
• To communicate and co-operate with specialists from outside agencies to provide an effective
• To ensure that effective communication is maintained with parents/carers about their child’s welfare, progress and participation in our school community

What you'll need to succeed
• Hold QTS
• Experience of working with SEND
• Have knowledge and understanding of the autistic profile of need.
• Have up to date IT skills
You will also need to undergo our Hays compliance which include satisfactory DfE references and a full DBS.
