Your new role
The role will be supporting the finance function in a busy broad position. Core duties in the role include:

• Promptly create accurate PO for relevant suppliers and seek Line Managers/budget holders’ approval.
• Discuss and advise suppliers on details concerning cost estimates and budget procedures e.g. All projects MUST have a PO prior to commencement of work, travel estimates are in line with Travel Policy; purchase order status and invoice payment.
• Assists the Budget Holder(s) with preparation for the annual Company plan, by setting up meeting(s) with Managers and Agencies.
• Capture and amend the budget numbers to reflect changes agreed at the budget review meetings
• Constant review of budget status and on a regular basis, provides the line managers with accurate and up to date reports from on brand, travel/admin spend.
• Understands Actual vs. latest Forecast variations and provide the correspondent explanations on a monthly basis.

• Provides essential administration services to a high level of competency to ensure smooth running of the department.

What you'll need to succeed
> Good knowledge of Excel
> Able to understand complex financial models
> Must be able to meet deadlines at key financial exercises, ie: Company Planning, SOP exercises, and year end.
> Needs to be self motivated, able to work under own initiative and meet urgent deadlines at key financial times.
