Hays HR are currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to work for an International Manufacturer with offices in Bradford.
Your new role
You will be responsible for providing generalist HR support to specified functions within the business, covering all aspects of HR.
- Responsible for all temporary labour on-site liaising with agencies to source and manage the need for temporary labour as well as managing the agency to agreed KPI’s
- Responsible for recruitment of apprentices, interns and graduates. Liaising with mentors and managers to support development needs.
- Responsible for the learning management system identifying training needs
- Assist with employee relations including but not limited to disciplinary, grievance, performance improvement plans, probation periods, new employee orientations and exit interviewing.
- Support managers in handling absence including long term absence management and referrals to medical practitioners and insurance providers to help lower absence levels and provide high levels of customer service
- Assist employees with general HR related queries, managing the HR email account to ensure employee queries are resolved in a timely manner with high levels of customer service
- Recommend policies and procedures to enhance delivery of HR services.
- Production of HR and Management reports.
- Support the payroll process ensuring checks are complete.
- Work on salary administration, benefits projects, special group projects and other generalist duties as required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrates knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in one functional areas such as recruitment, employee and/or employee relations.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- CIPD Level 5 (qualified or working towards).
