This is a great opportunity to join a modern, niche firm based in Holborn as an Assistant Surveyor. You'll join on a permanent, full-time basis with hybrid working patterns available.

You'll be part of a friendly, experienced team of Party Wall surveyors, rights of light specialists and architectures whilst working on a diverse and interesting range of both commercial and residential builds.

Your new role
• Information gathering: collating all the required information post client briefs.
• Site visits: in London and the UK.
• Site photography.
• Site measurement.
• Liaising with local authorities.
• Obtaining land registry documents.
• Regular follow-up of required information.
• Report collation to pass over to the surveying team.
• Organising and monitoring the storage of information.
• Assist with production of Reports and other Project related documents.
• Data processing.
• Meeting regular deadlines.
• Attend meetings as required.
• General administration tasks.
• Respond to telephone calls from clients/other interested parties, offer assistance or take detailed messages.
• Any other reasonable ad-hoc duties as required.
• Adhere to the Company’s QA and procedures at all times.
• Adhere to the Company’s H&S procedures and policies at all times
• Any other reasonable ad-hoc duties as required.

What you'll need to succeed

• A degree in a property / surveying related degree OR 1 years experience in a similar position.
• An interest and passion to work on party wall projects.
• Time management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiasm to learn.
• Common sense.
• Strong IT skills.

What you'll get in return

• £28,000 per annum.
