Your new role
We are recruiting an experienced CNC Machine Operator who has proven experience of Programming, Setting and operating CNC Machining Centre’s. Duties will include observing machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining using precision measuring instruments such as micrometer and dial calliper and adjust settings as required. Selecting specified programme for the parts, inspecting work and check dimensions to drawings, You will also check tools and materials for defects prior to commencing work; remove & replace dull tools, test run machine, verify parts to drawings, consult with Quality Manager as required and continue to inspect parts for quality throughout the run. Measure dimensions of finished work pieces to ensure confirmation to specifications using calibrated precision measuring instruments & templates. Edit CNC programmes to optimise performance and modify programmes to account for problems. Change and adjust machine offsets and tooling as required to meet dimensional and output requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

• Have a minimum of 3/4 year continuous experience in operating CNC milling machines & Line Boring experience.
• Have good knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments.
• Have strong work ethic
