Your new company
Our client is a public body who have a vast estate located across Northern Ireland. This organisations estate consists of modern and historic buildings, rural land, industrial warehouses and public building and facilities. They have a Facilities Manager post available to oversee the day to day management of a large public facility in Greater Belfast area.

Your new role
This is a full time permanent post.
• To lead the site buildings and estates maintenance, cleaning and security teams in the delivery of all daily site operations ensuring the safe, secure and efficient running of the site.
• To manage the cleaning and security contracts as it relates to the site, including performance management through contract meetings.
• To oversee the delivery of the yearly planned and reactive programme of maintenance, managing colleagues and contractors where appropriate.
• To utilise the asset management system including the reporting and delivery of maintenance works through the Help Desk, including the co-ordination and management of works delivery and sign-off by contractors or in-house staff.
• To operate the BEMS system across the site and ensure the efficient use of energy
• To maintain the waste contract
• To look after fleet ensuring vehicles are maintained and have the appropriate yearly certification and licensing. • To liaise with staff and PSNI on security issues relating to the site.
• To act as a key holder for the site.
• To ensure safe working practices in relation to day to day duties including carrying out regular risk assessments and inspections

What you'll need to succeed
A third level qualification (or equivalent) AND 2 years’ experience of facilities or estates management in a large venue.
OR
4 years’ experience of facilities or estates management in a large venue.
AND
Experience of compiling and delivering planned preventative and reactive maintenance programmes. Experience of managing staff, contractors and other service providers.
Experience working with asset / facilities management and BEMS/BMS systems.
A sound working knowledge of Health & Safety rules, regulations, legislation and best practice.
Previous experience in developing and managing budgets.
Demonstrate experience and understanding of project management.

Salary range is £32,328 - £33,459, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday and 37 days annual leave.
Eligible for membership of the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme.
Business mileage will be reimbursed at 45p per mile.
