You will be working as a Supply Chain and Inventory Planner and will be based on site 5 days a week in Cannock.
Your new role
You will be working as a Supply Chain and Inventory Planner with the primary responsibility of delivering end-to-end supply chain planning and management of inventory. You will need to drive end-to-end results and act as the single point of contact to the business/branches. Responsibilities include sales and operations planning (forecasting & demand planning), inventory management, and procurement operations to improve fill rates and reduce costs for the business. You will assist with managing suppliers, ordering, expediting, logistics and delivery to meet business targets and KPIs. You will use the internal MRP/ERP system along with Excel to manipulate data and produce accurate forecasts for the business.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will be a strong supply and inventory planner who has ideally worked in a manufacturing, automotive, engineering or aerospace sector. You will be a strong user of Excel, along with good knowledge of using different ERP/ MRP systems. You will be confident in managing supplier relationships and will be able to place orders and purchase goods. Any exposure to S&OP would also be beneficial for this position.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a starting salary of between £33,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience and will have excellent room for progression.
