Your new role

You will need to be a seasoned procurement professional with good knowledge of delivering public sector procurement, ideally at an above threshold level whilst following PCR15. You will be working alongside the current procurement team on a variety of projects and tenders. The team currently consists of a procurement and contract manager as well as 3 full time procurement officers. There will be no people management required in this role but you will be expected to share your knowledge of procurement with the team.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience of Public Sector Procurement and knowledge of OJEU.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to negotiate at a high level with suppliers
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence at senior levels
• Experience with above threshold tendering
