Working for a national construction company, you will join an established commercial team and work on the commercial delivery of large scale projects. This company is very established, has a secured pipeline of work and operates locally to Moray.

Your new role

In your new role as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in weekly reporting and analysis of the data relating to costs / measurement of works completed. You will review sub-contractor progress and compare to costing schedules and sign off sub-contractor payments. You will work closely with the site team to anticipate sensitivities with the budget and to minimise financial risk to the project.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be considered for this role you will have previous experience in an Assistant Quantity Surveying Role, with relevant qualifications such as a degree in Quantity Surveying / HND qualification. You must be skilled in data analysis and be able to use systems such as excel to a high standard to facilitate cost reporting and provide commercial updates. You must be an excellent communicator, able to work well as part of a team and work in a proactive manner.
