Social Value Officer

A Property Services company which provides integrated asset management for housing associations and local authorities, focusing on improving the living conditions of residents. Services include, repairs, refurbishments, compliancy services and maintenance works.

Your new role
As the Social Value Officer, you’ll coordinate the delivery of social value contractual commitments on the planned and regeneration work streams, ensuring a customer first approach by creating lasting, tangible benefits in the communities where the organisation works.
Maintaining a network of external stakeholders and community partners, including training providers, residents, and public sector contacts, you will support a data collating process and record information for monthly/weekly client and internal reporting, using social value calculators such as Social Value Portal. You’ll be completing case studies, social media, and production newsletters to communicate activities with the business, as well as externally, and be the lead point of contact for Schools, Colleges, and other provisions for coordinating work experience placements, careers evenings, mock interviews, site visits, and mentoring.

What you'll need to succeed
Our client is looking for a Social Value Officer to have previous demonstrable experience in community regeneration activity and be able to design initiatives/programmes aimed at supporting communities. It’s imperative that you can work on own initiative and autonomously, maintaining comprehensive reporting data, and are outcome focused, comfortable working in a demanding, fast paced environment.
You will be able to personalise your approach to target specific issues, you’ll be experienced in giving employability support / careers advice to customers and have a working knowledge of apprenticeships. This is an operational and strategic role, so we really need someone who can think innovatively and who has strong project management skills. Proficiency in Social Value Portal is a must.
