Management Accountant

Your new company
You will be joining a leading independent UK consultancy with 1500 employees across 9 UK offices as their Management Accountant. Reporting into the Finance Manager and Head of Finance, you will be part of a finance team with an overall aim of improving their current processes.
Your new role
You will support the Finance Manager in closing the month and the financial year-end, as well as various ad-hoc tasks. Your key duties will include monthly review of costs against budget movement, producing timely variance analysis which will enable the FM to understand key business issues and drivers of performance, preparing financial information for reports, assisting with the review of VAT reports, staff training, monthly reconciliations and engaging with company-wide projects.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to be Part-Qualified ACCA / CIMA and possess 2-3 years of experience in a similar role. Experience with the use of Oracle Fusion is highly desirable but not essential. Strong Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, sumifs) are essential. You will be a proactive, willing and enthusiastic individual with a keen eye for detail and the confidence to liaise with stakeholders at all levels within the organisation. You will be a mature, calm and personable individual with the ability to work well independently and as part of a wider team.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive an annual salary of up to £50,000 + study support + annual bonus entitlement + benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate.
