Job Title: HR Business Partner
Job Term : 1 FTC (with option to extend)

Your new company

Hays are delighted to be working in partnership with a public sector organisation based in Stirling. The business is now recruiting an HR Business Partner on a 1 year FTC basis with the option to extend . This role would suit an experienced HR Advisor looking for their next step or HRBP that is looking to move into the public sector.

Your new role

• Provide a wide a range of advice on HR and ER matters, liaising with the Senior HRBP to resolve specialised issues
• Engage with employee relations in a positive and proactive manner
• Attend local negotiation meetings
• Support on aspects such as design of change programmes
• Provide policy advice to managers
• Develop a knowledge of service area
• Work with colleagues to develop training and briefing sessions
• Lead on HR projects/ contribute to policy development
• Represent HR at working groups

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in a generalist HR position
• Up to date employment law knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• CIPD membership
• Confident presentation skills
• Experience in dealing with trade unions and employee representatives
