Your new role
The HR Manager is an integral part of this organisation, working closely with the Senior Leadership team, offering professional advice and guidance to contribute to company objectives, and acting as a trusted adviser to colleagues. This is a generalist role, responsible for the full HR lifecycle:

• Ensure that policy and procedure is up to date and in line with current legislation.
• Implement and evaluate performance KPIs for the department.
• Lead and manage the HR team.
• Act as an adviser for all HR related queries
• Take the lead on employee relations matters, and guide managers through the disciplinary and grievance process
• Manage the recruitment and selection process
• Work closely with the Training Coordinator on all L&D activities

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful as an HR Manager you will need:

• Previous experience in a senior HR role
• CIPD Qualified or studying towards
• Or, relevant HR or business degree
• A sound knowledge on all aspects of current employment legislation
• Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or construction environment would be desirable

What you'll get in return

• Salary £38000-£42000
• Permanent, full time position
• 37 hour working week with an early finish on Fridays
