This sustainability IT company based in Greater Manchester are looking for an Assistant Management accountant to join their team on a permanent basis due to market success. Your new role

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:

· To provide support to the assistant financial controller in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
· Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
· Assistance with the preparation of annual budgets.
· Complete VAT returns for the group.
· Assist with the annual audit and year end accounts
· Assist with weekly sales forecasting
· Support the senior finance team delivering commercial finance support to the sales team.
· Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers.
· Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the group’s accounting records and financial systems.
· Assist in ad-hoc projects such as the development of finance business processes and supporting projects.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be part qualified or QBE as well as having relevant experience in a similar role to ensure you hit the ground running upon arrival. You will need to have strong attention to detail as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced work environment.
