Hays are working in partnership with a leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor. This large team of Quantity Surveyors, Building Surveyors and Project Managers work on a range of private and public-sector projects throughout NI, ROI and UK valued up to £500m. Due to continuous growth they now seek an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your new role

You will be responsible for overseeing the cost management on a range of £multi-million projects. You will be involved with full pre and post contract quantity surveying, estimating, cost planning and producing bills of quantities as well as tender documentation / reports. This role will require you to attend site meetings and design briefings, alongside preparing interim valuations and site measurement.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have a degree in Quantity Surveying with 3+ years’ experience in a similar role. You will have an understanding of a project lifecycle from pre-construction through to completion with experience in NEC Contracts. As project locations will vary, you will be willing to travel throughout the UK & Ireland when necessary.
