Hays are working with a leading construction consultancy in Belfast who carry out a wide variety of Building Surveying activities complimented by Quantity Surveying and Project Management in their search for an experienced Building Surveyor. Their client base includes private individuals, commercial agents and property management companies, as well as national retailers, further education bodies, telecoms enterprises, banks and social housing organizations. Due to continuous growth, they now seek an experienced Building Surveyor to join their growing team.

Your new role

This position is based within their Belfast office, with the opportunity to work from home. and you will become a senior member of the team. This role will task you with basic Building Surveying duties alongside, Project Management and the management of staff and clients. The role will involve the management of junior members of staff with varying technical ability. Key aspects of the role include developing and maintaining relationships between new and existing clients, managing and sustaining frameworks for professional services including administrating fee recovery and the ability to lead appointments with little support.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this position you should be degree qualified in Building Surveying or equivalent. It is vital that you have excellent client facing skills and it is expected that suitable candidates would have a minimum of 5 years’ experience since obtaining Chartered status however exceptional candidates with lesser experience shall be considered.
