Assistant/Intermediate Project Manager - Highways

A leading North West based civil engineering contractor are looking for a Highways Project Manager to join their team.

Your new role
As the Highway Project Manager, you will be responsible for multiple sites and deliverables including managing client expectations and supporting contract commitments whilst ensuring the business is compliant with its integrated management and quality systems. You will have full ownership, responsibility and accountability commencing from pre-construction phase through to successful project delivery achieving safe working practices and completing all works at the highest possible HSEQ standards. What you'll need to succeed
You are either qualified or working towards HNC/HND and/or degree level, or the equivalent, in a construction related subject. You have highways experience ideally however rail, heavy civils, water, and groundworks experience will also be considered for this role. CSCS Card and CDM awareness, as well as SMSTS are also needed. You have a strong track record of leading teams and successfully delivering projects, and a have high level of technical and commercial competence. Ideally you will have worked with Local Authorities or Highways England frameworks before and you have a good working knowledge of health and safety legislation and requirements.
