Asset Maintenance Manager, Glebe Housing Association, London
Are you an experienced Asset Maintenance Manager or qualified Building Surveyor with experience of social housing? This is a key role in our organisation which will lead our asset management programme and manage all aspects of our repairs and maintenance service.
Glebe Housing Association provides sheltered and leasehold accommodation and related supports to older people enabling them to live independently within their community.
This role is based within a small team at our Head Office in Bencurtis Park, West Wickham. Our 202 units are also based within the same park. We are on the Kent/Bromley/Croydon borders with fast transport links to Central London.
You will lead on delivery of our asset management plan, deliver our day to day repair service through your management of our in-house team and our external contractors. You will manage our external consultants.
A third level qualification in a related field or the equivalent work experience together with expert knowledge of residential property maintenance, procurement, contract management, asset management, building regulations, health and safety and compliance legislation is a prerequisite of the role.
